snow

I enjoyed my first snow of the season! I realized that I could still play with all my outside toys even though it is still snowing. However my excitement over this dwindled as the snow and temperature continued to fall. It was fun while it lasted though.

Decorating cookies

I had a really good time helping Mom decorate some cookies! It required a lot of concentration... so of course I had to stop and eat some M&Ms to help me retain my strength, my Nana taught me that trick!

Counting and make believe

Tonight I learned how to count poker chips. It was a little confusing at first because I did not understand why I could not ate them, they are chips after all. After counting got boring I figured they made good make believe cookies and I served them to Trigger and Nala.

It has been awhile since I have blogged but I have been very busy going to school full time. Working on my 1, 2, 3 and up to 10 is hard work. I am really excited for the holidays. I helped decorate the tree this year. It was a lot of fun.

I think it turned out really well.

Playing Doctor

I am working on my doctor skills. I have become very good at making Mommy and Daddy "all better". I am now working on making Nala and Trigger all better too. They are being very good sports.

Fun with paint!

I had a great time with Mom when she let me paint! Mommy got sponges and cut them into different shapes for me to paint with. There were triangles, squares, diamonds, and circles, plus a whole bunch more! I figured out a lot of things that I could do differently on the paper using the sponges. I also liked mixing the colors around! I think this is something I could do a lot of! Mommy kept my first few pieces of art figuring she could sell them for millions someday when I'm a famous artist! :)

Sick :(

I was very sick yesterday. I threw up all night and didn't eat all day. The good news was that Nana was up with me so I got to sleep all day on the couch in my pajamas. I am feeling much better now, but here is a picture of me sleeping on the couch to prove just how tired I was!

Fun with Grandma and Grandpa

This last month has been very very busy! First, my Mommy and Daddy took a trip with Nana and Papa, Uncle Scott and Aunt Katie to England and Scotland. While they were busy there I got to spend some time with My Grandma and Grandpa! They took this time to give me my Christmas present which was a "fantasy weekend".

We were VERY busy! First I got to go to my cousin Kaili's birthday party. And then we got to go to McDonalds TWICE!! I never wanted to leave those toys!! But best of all I went to the zoo with Alyssa and Gavin.

Toy Story 3

Yesterday my Mommy and her friend Jodi took Chase and me to see the movie Toy Story 3 in the movie theater!! It was my first trip to the movies and Mommy told me after that she was so impressed with me that she was willing to take me to the movies again. I sat in my booster seat the whole time and ate cup after cup after cup of popcorn. I loved the movie, so of course I sat still to watch the whole thing!

Potty Party!

A little over a week ago now my Mommy and Daddy threw me a Mickey Mouse party! When I woke up in the morning I got to come downstairs to a really fun looking room!

That morning I got a new baby doll. Mommy and I taught her how to go on the potty and she did! After nap I got to open another present, this time it was BIG GIRL PANTIES!!

After dinner I got to go out to dinner at my favorite restaurant, McDonalds, and then to Baskin Robbins after dinner!

I have been doing very well remembering to go on the potty! There have been a few accidents, but I think I'm doing pretty well!

After a rough week of potty training my mommy needed a break, so I sent her to San Francisco to visit Nana and Papa. She also is going to visit some friends. With mommy gone Daddy and I are sending a whole lot of time together. Its been great!

We got to have Daddy-Daughter breakfast which I have not had all summer because Daddy is always sleeping. It was really good. Then we spent the morning being lazy (Daddy is pretty tired) and watching movies on Daddy's lap, the best seat in the house.

After nap Daddy took me to the lake. It was so much fun I loved the sand and we even went way out to where Daddy could not touch. I meet a few friends my age but I was the only one who did not need a lifejacket because I am a very good swimmer. After the water got cold we played on the beach but I got hungry so we headed home.

After showers and popcorn I asked Daddy to watch "Toys." Finally, Daddy figured out that I wanted to watch Toy Story. I think this is my favorite movie.

I can't wait to find out what Daddy has planned for tomorrow.

Disneyland!!

I got to go to Disneyland with my Mommy and Daddy and Uncle Scott and Aunt Katie. When we got off the plane guess who was there to meet me? Nana and Papa!! This Disneyland place is great! They have very good food, fun rides, and of course...Mickey Mouse! In between rides Papa gave me fun wild rides in the stroller! I went on a lot of fun rides, like Dumbo, Tea Cups, Storybook canal, Peter Pan, and some Bug's life rides. The best on of all was called Gadget's Go Coaster. This was a "real" roller coaster! I was just tall enough to go on it with my Daddy. It went as fast as 22 MPH at times!

Dumbo was after breakfast and I LOVED it! Mommy almost couldn't get me off the ride at the end.

Another highlight of the trip was the train ride!

We got to meet Mickey and Goofy too!

It was a great trip that ended with a Mickey tee shirt and a muffin at the airport!

Uncle Scott and Aunt Katie

My Uncle Scott and Aunt Katie are up here for the whole week! I'm having a really great time with them. In this picture I figured out that Scott likes tortilla chips almost as much as I do! So I scooted over to him very quickly and asked "Chip please!". Scott is a great sharer!

Happy Fourth of July!

I hope everyone had a good time on the Fourth of July! I had an excellent time! Mommy and Daddy let me stay up very late and watch some of the fireworks. I have never seen them before and I was very impressed! The words that I used to describe them were, big, pretty, and loud. I think they were all pretty accurate! I had a hard time falling asleep because even though I was very tired, it was still very loud all around me!

Crazy hair day!

For the month of July we get to have fun days at daycare. Today was crazy hair day. Mom had some thinking to do since I'm still working on growing my hair! This morning I also decided that I wanted to wear my nightgown all day. Mommy couldn't get it off me! So we compromised and she let me wear the nightgown and she got to make my hair crazy and put some jeans on me. I think I looked very pretty.

When Daddy was building the new pond in the backyard Mommy saw this photo op. She thought it looked suspiciously like a photo that her Mommy had on her dresser for so many years. Look familiar Nana?

Summer time!

The weather is finally nice enough so we got out the pool and I got to take my first dip of the summer.

Mom even let me have snack in the pool!

Happy Father's day!

Father's day started out with me helping Mommy make cinnamon rolls for Daddy.... I could hardly wait to eat them!!!



Then, to end the day right. I gave Daddy a pedicure! I think it was a wonderful Father's day!

Big girl bed!!!

So Daddy finally talked Mommy into buying me a big girl bed. I LOVE it! There are many rules involved, like I have to stay in the bed once they put me in it. And in the morning I can't get up too early. But I am quickly learning the rules, and I still love the bed! We took some reenactment photos after my first night in the bed.

Cooking

I am very good at helping Mommy pour measuring spoons full of things into bowls. I even got to help bake my birthday cake!



And of course lick the spoon!!!!

Baseball game

While I was at the ball game with my Nana and Grandpa, and Uncle Scott, and Aunt Katie, and Mommy and Daddy I had a real good time. We watched the game, I got to have a lot of things to eat, I also got to walk around a lot, and I even went to look at some boats. I guess there was a baseball game going on at the same time, but I didn't notice it much! I was pretty tired after the afternoon! But it was a great day with my family.

Bee Sting

On Monday May 24th I got my first bee sting. My Washington Grandma and Grandpa were visiting for the day. I was enjoying the morning sunshine outside when I stepped on a bee. I lifted up my foot to see what was hurting under there and the little guy flew away! Although it didn't hurt that much I still love telling the story!

P.S. There isn't a picture to go with this post because I won't allow anyone to look at my foot, let alone take a picture of it!

Keeping Score

Last time I was in California, Grandpa was teaching me how to keep score. This was so that I could help him while he got up to get more garlic fries! :)

Playing in the toy box

I discovered that I am able to crawl into my toy box! Best thing ever! It gives me a place to hide, and I can spy on people though the peephole. Also I can play hours of peek-a-boo whoever is around.
